We’re a group of 3d Artists, Animators and Designers in beautiful Portland, Oregon.
Whether it's Product Design, Broadcast & Animation, Gaming or Advertising, 3D in PDX is booming!

Newsletter

Since Joe Myers founded 3DPDX in 2010, it has served as the Portland area user group for all things 3D. 3DPDX brought us together through events that were entertaining, relevant, and substantial. No matter if your weapon of choice was C4D, Maya, 3DSMax, Blender, Substance, and so on – walls were brought down as we took time to appreciate artists using these tools and the studios doing great work, in Portland and beyond.
As we approach the 10 year anniversary, it’s time for a new chapter… literally. We are thrilled to announce that 3DPDX and VFX/PDX are merging to form the Portland SIGGRAPH chapter, unified in our mission to get together and “shop it up” like never before while remaining volunteer, non-profit, and free for all. Very interesting event. It’s cool to see someone in person talk about the process of working on some very subtle and also very intense/cool effects on a major film. Love it!
